Das 30. Rock for People Festival in Hradec Králové in Tschechien findet vom 11. – 15. Juni 2025 statt und versammelt mit Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, Sex Pistols feat. Frank Carter, Linkin Park und Guns N‘ Roses ein explosives Line-Up in atemberaubender Kulisse und abwechslungsreichem Rahmenprogramm.
Das Rock for People, das sich in den letzten Jahren zu einem der führenden Events der tschechischen Musikszene entwickelt hat, bringt jedes Jahr über 150 Künstler*innen zusammen, darunter die größten Stars der Welt. Die Dramaturgie eines jeden Tages wird sorgfältig zusammengestellt, so dass das Programm eine vielfältige Auswahl an energiegeladenen, gitarrenbetonten Acts, Trendbands und auch Newcomern umfasst. Neben den ausländischen Künstlern ist auch die tschechische und slowakische Musikszene vertreten. Hinter Rock for People steht die Agentur Ameba Production, die auch neben dem Festival jährlich Dutzende von Konzerten veranstaltet. Das letztjährige, 29. Rock for People, angeführt von Bring Me The Horizon, The Offspring, The Prodigy und Yungblud, war nicht nur bei den fast 40.000 Fans ein großer Erfolg, sondern auch bei den Medien, die die Messlatte noch einmal höher legten.
„Rock for People’s domain is the widest musical selection across Czech festivals. Over 180 artists will perform on 10 different stages, including the world’s biggest stars as well as yet-to-be-discovered musical gems,“ sagt Festival-Gründer Michal Thomas. Er ergänzt: „The program is curated so that everyone finds something they like without getting bored even for a minute. This year we are also putting a major emphasis on the visual aspect of the festival grounds. We have a lot in store for fans and we can promise them a truly unforgettable experience.„
