Frontstage Magazine: How are you?
Kieran: Fuckin amazing.
Frontstage Magazine: What does „THE WILFUL PURSUIT OF IGNORANCE“ mean to you?
Kieran: Mankind’s talent for turning a blind eye to all the atrocities in the world. Both humanitarian and environmental.
Frontstage Magazine: Which track means the most to you?
Kieran: My favourite track is the title song. It kicks ass.
Frontstage Magazine: How does the different backgrounds (New Zealand and Switzerland) of the band members influence your music?
Kieran: We’re lucky enough to have a Swiss band with an authentic English vocalist.
Frontstage Magazine: Now it is gradually possible to play „real“ concerts again. What are you looking forward to the most?
Kieran: Playing in front of people and seeing all the other great bands we will get to play with.
Frontstage Magazine: Do you have a „favourite live song“ that is just the most fun or works best with the audience?
Kieran: Chlorine Boogie from our first album. That one always goes down really well in our home town. Its nice to have them singing along.
Frontstage Magazine: What are your further plans for this year?
Kieran: We have 2 tours with Siena Root, in total about 4 weeks long. And another one with Deville for about 2.5 weeks. Also lots of one off shows in Switzerland, a few festivals in Europe, and the release show for ‘The Wilful Pursuit of Ignorance’ is on the 28th May in Lucerne, Yeah!
Frontstage Magazine: Thank you very much for the interview!
Kieran: Thank you very much for your interest in our band! Hope to see you on the road!
