Der estnische multi-talentierte Electro-Pop Artist NOËP veröffentlicht heute zusammen mit der Halbbritin Emily Roberts die neue Single „KIDS“ via Humming Records. Ein Song, welcher eindrucksvoll auf die Kurzsichtigkeit der Menschen im Umgang mit unseren Planeten Erde aufmerksam macht.
Beim ersten Hören des Songs „KIDS“, denken sicherlich einige an das eigene inneren Kind, an die innere Jugendlichkeit, doch dahinter steckt ein Thema, welches NOËP besonders wichtig ist. „Actually it is yet again (as many of my recent tracks) inspired by environmental concerns and how we grown-ups are just big toddlers who can’t see past
the well-being of our own noses. In fact, around the time we wrote the track Trump had just managed to get the US to leave the Paris Agreement and that was it…“
Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen NOËP und Emily Roberts war dabei etwas magisches. So sagt Emily selbst: „It was very pleasant and interesting. I remember us saying “ I usually don’t write like this”.. “yeah , me neither” but we kept going with what we had cause somehow it felt special. It was a nice symbiose of all of us coming together and expressing this “weight of the world”- sort of pain. But we made it cynical and almost comical.“
